Kanatara—A Wealth-Building Machine

Kanatara creates wealth where there was none before.

Kanatara will help multitudes of people create wealth, either as entrepreneurs organizing local Kanatara Groups, or as individuals sharing their talent, expertise, knowledge, wisdom and interests with others through Classes and Circles—expanding their own wealth while at the same time making the lives of others richer.

One great purpose of Kanatara is to create wealth, to expand wealth, to enable a great many people to increase their wealth. Gold in the mountain is not wealth. It must be extracted. It must be mined, monetized and packaged in the form of gold bars before it is wealth. Likewise, a man or woman’s talents, genius, brilliance, knowledge, expertise, wisdom, skills—these are not wealth until they are monetized and packaged in a form that others can benefit from.

Kanatara is in the mining business, the monetizing business, the packaging  business. Kanatara is a platform for people to monetize the wealth that is inside them in a free-form educational and social milieu.

Atlanta, Here We Come

The first Kanatara meeting will be Saturday at 12:30 EDT. Kanatara is going live in Atlanta, Georgia. Carla W., the first Kanatara Operator, will be hosting the first meeting for Teachers and Circle Leaders and any other interested parties.

We wish her well and look forward to a great take-off in Atlanta—the cultural and economic center of the Atlanta metropolitan area, home to 5,268,860 people, and the ninth largest metropolitan area in the U.S. With a gross domestic product of US$270 billion, Atlanta’s economy ranks 15th among world cities and sixth in the nation (Wikipedia).

The city has long been known as a center of black wealth, political power and culture; a cradle of the Civil Rights Movement and home to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. However, the city’s white population is growing rapidly, while Metro Atlanta has quickly become ethnically diverse with large Hispanic and Asian populations. The arts and entertainment are well represented in Atlanta, and the city is an important base for hip hop, gospel, and neo soul music; in addition, it has become a major center of film and TV production. What a great place for Kanatara to start! Welcome Atlanta!!

Welcome to our Blog

This is the start of our Kanatara blog. Lots of good things are happening. We are almost finished debugging the backend of our site. By backend, I mean all that has to do with signing up, listing Classes and Circles, signing up for Classes and Circles, paying for them, paying the Teachers and Circle Leaders, oversight by Operators and Developers, the rating and comment system, the flagging system, and on and on and on. A ton of stuff in the backend to make it totally smooth for users. I figure another couple of weeks and it will be finished. Hard to believe that last summer we thought it would only take a little more time to get the backend up and running. There is SO much to it. SO much code. But, anyway, we’re about there.
